970 HOOPS PARTNERSHIP 

HAB is thrilled to have a partnership with 970 Hoops, a local organization, owned and operated by Michael Vandahl. 

970 Hoops and High Altitude Basketball have aligned Missions of providing basketball opportunities for all and elevating basketball in the Yampa Valley and greater Western Slope Region. 

970 Hoops primary focus is on advanced basketball skill development. Michael Vandahl is a former Division I and II college basketball player. He also has
had a very successful career as the head coach of the Steamboat Springs Boys Basketball program.

Competitive Program Partnership 


970 Hoops enhances the competitive program by running skill development sessions for all of our competitive teams and participants. 


*NEW* Recreational Partnership


Starting in 2021 970 Hoops will run advanced camps, clinics, and assist in the creation of basketball opportunities for any interested players throughout the yampa valley. 

Both organizations believe that by working together in partnership, ALL players will get a chance to receive todays top basketball skill development opportunities.
