Team Structure/Try-outs
Try-outs will be regionalized to the Yampa Valley (Steamboat Springs, North Routt, South Routt, Hayden, Craig). Try-outs will be held and the best 10 players will be selected to participate. Decisions on cuts will be made by the HAB coaching staff.

Tournaments/Games
The team will participate in THREE AWAY regional tournaments. It is HAB's goal that the team participate in tournaments where the participants can have a fun and competitive experience that creates confidence for future competitive basketball experiences.
March 12-13th, 2022 iHoop Nation Tournament (Northglenn)
April 1 - 2nd, 2022 Coal Ridge Tournament
April 16-17th 2022 iHoop Nation Tournament (Northglenn)
Practice
Practices will be run by HAB skill development coaches and team coaches. Participants can expect two to three practices per week during the season at Yampa Valley regional schools.
Program starting dates, tryout Monday February 28th. First Practice Wednesday or Friday, March 2 or 4th depending on team selection and organization.
7th and 8th grade girls

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and possibly FRIDAY.
Participant Commitment
Participants will be expected to attend the majority (80%) of practices and skill development sessions. Participants will be expected to attend all tournaments.
Parent Volunteers
Parents volunteers are a crucial asset to the Competitive program's success. Parents will have the opportunity to volunteer in multiple capacities.
