Cost: Spring $250 - 970 Hoops and 2-3 tournaments

Team Structure/Try-outs

Right now we are looking to get this program off the ground again. We want to see what our numbers are before we decide on whether we need a tryout or not. Try-outs will be regionalized to the Yampa Valley (Steamboat Springs, North Routt, South Routt, Hayden, Craig). Try-outs will be held and the best players will be selected to participate. Decisions on participant placement and cuts will be made by the HAB coaching staff.

Tournaments/Games

New THIS YEAR (2024) - HAB is creating a new schedule for it's High School Program. We will now offer a spring schedule and fall schedule. The spring season will be a 4 week season running April to Mid-May. We will participate in two - three tournaments. Tournaments may be one-day and/or two-day overnight tournaments.

Practice

Practices will be run by HAB skill development coaches and team coaches. Participants can expect one practice per week and possibly some morning shooting options. 

Commitment

Participants will be expected to attend the majority (80 %) of practices and skill development sessions. Participants will be expected to attend all tournaments.

Parent Volunteers

Parent volunteers are a crucial asset to the competitive program's success! Parents will have the opportunity to volunteer in multiple capacities.
